Contract Details

16‑hour contract; weekend availability may be required.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Shop Manager and work within the Retail team.
• Deliver excellent customer experience by meeting the A.C.E pillars (Be Friendly, Be Inspiring and Be Invaluable).
• Understand and continuously improve shop KPIs.
• Promote multichannel shopping using the mobile point of sale system (mPOS) and create endless‑aisle orders.
• Engage customers by signing them up to email newsletters, tagging purchases to their profile and sending e‑receipts in line with data protection regulations.
• Use knowledge of promotions or discounts to inform customers and increase sales.
• Assist in retail events including Customer Events and preview evenings.
• Maintain high visual standards in‑store; support floor moves, mannequin and window displays, and replenishment.
• Explain product features (fits, style, fabrics) to support customers’ buying decisions.
• Process deliveries efficiently and ensure products are replenished and available on the shop floor.
• Support in‑stock management processes such as stocktakes.
• Use company resources (White Stuff website, Looking White Stuff, the Tea Room, email communications, window guidelines and brand posts) to engage customers and ensure compliance with daily/weekly actions.
• Collaborate as a team player and participate actively in team briefs.
• Understand and comply with Health & Safety and emergency procedures in store.
• Provide professional service to internal customers, head office departments, centre management and other visitors.
• Accurately fulfil ship‑from‑store and Click + Collect processes.
• Support the charity partner and any events or charity promotions.
• Explain ethical sourcing and environmental impact to customers and the team.
