About the School
Ludham Primary School and nursery is situated in the heart of the Norfolk Broads on a beautiful site, including an area of woodland. This part-time role is in a mixed EYFS class (primarily Reception year class). The school offers a vibrant primary setting with a well-established Forest School provision.
Role Overview
This temporary, part‑time teaching position (0.4 FTE, 2 days per week) is ideal for an experienced or early‑career teacher. You will deliver high‑quality teaching, support pupils’ progress and contribute to the school’s vision of becoming an excellent and enjoyable learning community.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide engaging, creative lessons for Reception pupils, using early reading and phonics methods where relevant.
- Use the Early Years Framework, National Curriculum and assessment arrangements to plan and assess learning.
- Build strong relationships with pupils, families and carers, fostering a supportive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the school and support wider school initiatives, including outdoor and Forest School activities.
- Review and reflect on teaching practice, contributing to continuous improvement and professional development.
