Job Summary
We are seeking to appoint an experienced, innovative and highly driven Head of Division for Engineering to provide effective leadership and management of staff, students, programmes, and resources to achieve recruitment targets, deliver outstanding provision, and secure excellent outcomes for learners, while upholding the College’s standards of excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Working closely with curriculum teams, industry partners and senior leaders, you will lead the development and delivery of engineering programmes from Entry through to HE, ensuring technical excellence, employer responsiveness and strong student outcomes. You will manage engineering workshops, equipment investment and H&S compliance, while building links with local and national engineering employers to shape curriculum and secure progression routes. You will also contribute to the wider College leadership team to help deliver an outstanding technical education offer.
Essential Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent level qualification in any relevant area and recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience of extensive successful teaching on appropriate programmes in a college context.
- Successful curriculum development experience.
- Knowledge of national developments relevant to 14-19, apprenticeships, adult and university education.
