About The Role
Keighley College is seeking a Teacher of Maths to deliver both functional skills and GCSE maths in the college and, where required, in community settings.
This a variable‑hours contract, generally up to two evenings a week during term time.
What You Will Do
- Plan, prepare, deliver and assess maths sessions in college and in community settings as required.
- Support the maths team with initial assessments, diagnostics and progression planning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to conduct internal verification to ensure high teaching quality.
About You
- Experience delivering functional skills and GCSE maths.
- A valid Level 5 teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching adults is an advantage.
- Works well within a team and demonstrates flexibility, initiative and independence.
- Commitment to safeguarding and welfare of all students, including completion of an enhanced DBS check and other pre‑employment checks.
