We are recruiting for two full-time roles, working 37 hours per week within our Animal Management department, based at our Puxton Park campus.

Interviews for this role will take place on-site, in Weston-super-Mare.

Responsibilities

  • Providing high‑quality teaching, learning, and assessment across a number of Animal Management programmes as agreed with the Head of Area.
  • Tutorship of students, showing sensitivity to their needs and encouraging the highest possible standards.
  • Meeting targets with reference to student progress on programme, for their attendance and retention.
  • Providing advice and guidance to students in their progression to either employment or other courses within the College.

Qualifications

  • Teaching experience and knowledge of current teaching strategies.
  • Excellent organisational, administrative and communication skills.

You will also need to either hold a teaching qualification, or be willing to gain this whilst in post (with the support of Weston College).
