Qualifications
- Significant governance, compliance or company secretarial experience within an academy trust or comparable organisation.
- Strong understanding of academy trust governance, company law and charity law.
- Experience supporting Boards, Trustees, Governors or senior executives.
- Knowledge of governance frameworks, regulatory compliance and assurance requirements.
- Experience managing complex governance and compliance activities.
- Excellent organisational, written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and professional judgement.
- Ability to build credibility and influence at senior leadership and board level.
- Experience developing governance processes, systems and reporting frameworks.
- Knowledge of data protection and Freedom of Information requirements.
- Commitment to integrity, professionalism and continuous improvement.
