Dorset Wildlife Trust is seeking a practical, enthusiastic and hardworking Assistant Warden to work with the West Dorset Warden and West Dorset Reserves team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and enhancing West Dorset nature reserves
- Maintaining infrastructure and equipment
- Engaging with visitors
- Habitat management and ecological monitoring
- Livestock management with cattle, sheep & ponies at Kingcombe Meadows Farm
This role offers a chance to work on the stunning Kingcombe National Nature Reserve and surrounding West Dorset nature reserves, managing a variety of habitats and contributing to the Trust’s organic livestock operation.
The position is permanent, full‑time, based at Kingcombe Meadows Farm, and involves rota‑based livestock management with regular weekend work as part of a flexible working arrangement.

Interviews will be held on 30 July at Kingcombe Meadows Farm, with a second interview option if required.
