Job Overview

Healthy outcomes start with positive patient experiences. As a Weekend Chef at Sodexo in Priory Hospital Roehampton, you will play a vital role in preparing high-quality meals that support patient wellbeing and enhance the overall dining experience.

Hours & Compensation

18 – 20 hours per week (Saturdays & Sundays)

£14.00 – £16.00 per hour + Sodexo Benefits

Location: Priory Hospital Roehampton, SW15 5JJ.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and quality standards.
• Contribute to menu planning and recipe development.
• Support, guide, and train junior chefs and kitchen staff.
• Ensure full compliance with health and safety, hygiene, cleanliness, COSHH, and fire safety regulations.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) and at least 2 years’ experience as a chef.
• Strong culinary skills and a genuine passion for cooking.
• Ability to perform well under pressure in a busy kitchen.
• Clear, respectful communication and a strong team spirit.
