SPMT Driver – Wallsend | Ongoing Contract | Temp to Perm Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for an experienced SPMT Driver to join our client’s team based in Wallsend.

This is an ongoing contract with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate, offering excellent rates of pay and regular overtime.

Pay & Hours

• £23.50 per hour
• 42 basic hours per week with overtime rate paid after 38
• Additional weekend overtime paid at enhanced rates

The Role

As an SPMT Driver, you will be responsible for the safe operation of Self-Propelled Modular Transporters, moving heavy and oversized loads in a controlled environment. You’ll work as part of an experienced team, ensuring all movements are completed safely and efficiently.

Requirements

• Previous experience operating SPMTs is essential.
• Valid SPMT Card/ certificate
• Strong commitment to health and safety.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively within a team.
