Actual salary – £24,598 – £26,683 per annum36.25 hours per week – Term Time Only plus INSET days.

Working hours would be:Monday – 10.15am – 6.00pm (After School Club 3.00pm – 6.00pm)Tuesday – 10.15am – 6.00pm (After School Club 3.00pm – 6.00pm)Wednesday – 7.30am – 2.15pm (Breakfast Club 7.30am – 9.00am)Thursday – 9.15am – 6.00pm (After School Club 3.00pm – 6.00pm)Friday – 7.30am – 3.15pm (Breakfast Club 7.30am – 9.00am)

Job Purpose

We have an exciting opportunity for a dual role leading our wraparound care provision and also, working in the school office.

To lead the team in the day to day running of our before and after school club.

To be responsible for the running of the club ensuring a safe, stimulating and effective club.

To carry out some key administrative tasks in the school office.

Responsibilities

  • Working in close partnership with the Extended Services Team, the admin team and SLT.
  • Planning, coordinating and delivering a wide range of exciting activities to Early Years, Infant and Junior children.
  • Effectively line managing the team to ensure that provision is consistent, effective and of a high standard and that all policies and procedures are adhered to.
  • Communicating effectively with parents/carers.
  • Maintaining the outstanding ethos of the school.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Hold a relevant qualification to at least NVQ level 3 or suitable qualifications that would support the role.
  • Have a successful history of working with children in the primary age range and have a sound understanding of the current legislation relating to the safeguarding of children and the responsibilities that go with this.
  • Be competent in the use of ICT – including experience of working with Word and Excel.
  • Have administration experience.
  • Be hard working, professional and reliable.
  • Be an effective communicator and be able to work effectively with all stakeholders including governors, school leaders and parents and carers.
