Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a temporary part‑time Clerical Officer/Receptionist to join our dedicated team within Business Services. The role is based primarily at our Wheatley Hill office but may require coverage at other offices. This is a non‑hybrid role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reception duties
  • Dealing with incoming and outgoing correspondence
  • Telephone answering and message taking
  • Ordering
  • Data entry
  • File management, including scanning and archiving
  • Typing duties, including the production of posters and display materials
  • Arranging transport
  • Issue and recording of petty cash transactions
  • Booking rooms and diary management

Qualifications

You should have 4 GCSEs (A–C grades including English Language or Literature) or NVQ 2 Business (or equivalent related subject). Good communication skills, ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines, high accuracy, strong organisational and flexible skills, good IT skills, ability to manage changing priorities, and ability to work unsupervised using own initiative are required.
