Food Service Assistant

Job Overview

This role involves working at the Bolton unit of Aramark UK as a Food Service Assistant, preparing grab‑and‑go foods such as sandwiches, wraps, and paninis, as well as performing front‑of‑house duties including operating tills and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare sandwiches, wraps, paninis and other grab‑and‑go items.
• Clean and maintain back‑of‑house and front‑of‑house areas, ensuring a tidy unit before, during, and after service.
• Operate the till and handle cash transactions, maintaining accurate financial records.
• Offer hot and cold drinks and serve food at food counters in compliance with Food Safety and Health & Safety regulations.
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service to all patrons.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Must have resided in the UK for the past five years and have legal right to work.
• Must be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.
• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.

Working Hours & Compensation

• Full‑time, 37.5 hours per week (shift pattern). Shifts typically run from 07:00 to 15:00.
• Hourly rate of £13.45.
• Regular on‑site parking and local transport links available.
