Eyfs Teaching Assistant

Overview

Support children in Nursery and Reception, assisting with play-based learning, phonics, early language development, and personal, social, and emotional development.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the class teacher with EYFS provision
• Assist with indoor and outdoor learning activities
• Promote children’s independence and confidence
• Observe and record pupil progress
• Support children with personal care where required
• Create a safe and nurturing learning environment

Ideal Candidate

• Minimum 3 months’ experience in an EYFS, nursery, or primary setting
• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification desirable
• Understanding of the EYFS Framework
• Caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach
