Thisisahands-onCreditControlpositionwithinasmall,close-knitfinanceteam.You’lltakeownershipofdebtcollection,workingcloselywithinternalandexternalstakeholderstomanageandreduceoutstandingdebt.
Theroleisprimarilyfocusedonpurecreditcontrol,withanemphasisonbuildingstrongworkingrelationships,resolvingqueries,andimprovingcashcollectionprocesses.You’llplayakeyroleinmaintainingcashflowacrossthebusiness.
Your remit will include
- Proactivelymanageandcollectoutstandingdebtviaphoneandemail
- Buildstrongworkingrelationshipswithclientstosupportcollections
- Handlequeryresolutionefficiently
- Allocatecashandensurepaymentsarecorrectlyposted
- Followstructuredcreditcontrolprocessestoimprovecollectionperformance
- Workwithremittancesandensureaccuratereconciliations
- Supportimprovementstocreditcontrolsystemsandprocessesasnewtoolsareintroduced
You will need
- Previousexperienceincreditcontrol,accountsreceivable,orafinance-relatedrole(orastronggraduate/apprenticewithrelevantexposure)
- Aconfidentcommunicationstyle,comfortablespeakingwithclientsandinternalstakeholders
- Strongrelationship-buildingskillswithaprofessionalapproach
- Goodattentiontodetail(particularlyaroundcashpostingandreconciliations)
- Theabilitytobeorganised,andfollowstructuredprocessesandcontrols
