Care Assistant

We are seeking a caring and dedicated Complex Care Assistant to support our 20‑year‑old client as part of a 2:1 care package in her family home.

Our client is a young woman living with drug‑resistant epilepsy due to cortical dysplasia, experiencing multiple types of seizures.

Key Responsibilities

• Personal care
• PEG feeding and medication administration
• Seizure monitoring and management
• Moving and handling
• Suctioning (as required)
• Engaging in sensory play, arts and crafts, story time, and outings

Qualifications & Requirements

• Non‑smoker
• Comfortable working in a home with a pet dog
• Available for weekday and weekend day shifts
• No complex care experience required; training provided
• Full training and ongoing clinical support available
• Driver not required
• Sponsorship cannot be offered

Shift Details

• Various shifts available: 9.00 – 21.00 / 9.00 – 17.00 / 17.00 – 21.00
• Monday to Friday and occasional Sunday shift
• Driver not required
