Bank Facilities Assistant Transport (NDDH & RDE)

The Estates & Facilities (EFM) Bank is looking for reliable and motivated individuals to join our team as a Bank Facilities Assistant Transport in North Devon.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and timely collection and delivery of pharmacy supplies, medical specimens, mail, PPE, equipment, and general stores across Devon.
• Support patient care and operational services by maintaining efficient transport between NHS locations and partner sites.
• Manage workload independently, ensuring confidentiality of items and adherence to procedures.
• Plan and navigate local routes, including travel to Exeter and North Devon District Hospital where necessary.
• Deliver a high-quality service that contributes directly to the smooth running of NHS services and patient care.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence.
• Previous driving or delivery experience is advantageous; full training will be provided.
• Ability to work independently, manage workload effectively, and handle confidential items with professionalism.
• Strong communication skills, flexibility, and a commitment to delivering a reliable service.
