Support Worker

Salary: £12.71 per hour. Working Hours: 20 hours per week. Service: Highlea Care Limited. Location: Shildon.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support with eating, medication, and routine
• Help plan and participate in fun activities, trips, and community events
• Encourage independence and celebrate every milestone
• Assist with daily tasks like cooking, cleaning, and errands
• Build positive, trusting relationships through listening and open communication
• Support individuals to plan and achieve their personal goals and ambition

About You

• A caring, compassionate attitude
• Motivation to support others in reaching their goals
• Great listening and communication skills
• Previous experience in care is welcome but not essential – training will be provided
