We’re recruiting HGV Class 2 Drivers for a leading drainage contractor working near Waltham Abbey, Essex. This is a hands‑on, varied role offering consistent work, strong earning potential, and a clear route into a permanent position.

The Role

You’ll work as part of a two-person team operating specialist drainage vehicles. The role combines HGV driving with hands‑on drainage support work across the highways network.

Key Duties

• Drive and operate HGV Class 2 drainage vehicles (Vacuum Tankers)
• Work alongside an operative to support drainage clearance and maintenance
• Assist in operating specialist equipment to maintain surface water systems
• Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently

Hours

• Monday to Friday
• Approx. 50 hours per week
• Day shifts only: 06:00 – 16:00

Pay

• £15– £15.50 per hour (PAYE)
• Equivalent to £40,000+ basic per year based on typical hours
