What You’ll Do Be Doing;

You won’t just be lecturing, you’ll be laying the groundwork for student success. Your day-to-day will involve:

  • Designing engaging, coherent lesson plans and digital resources that make construction theory come to life.
  • Managing both physical and online classrooms efficiently, keeping things safe, updated, and highly interactive.
  • Setting assessments, giving stellar feedback, and tracking learner progress to keep everyone on the right track.
  • Acting as a Programme Manager when needed, offering top-tier academic and pastoral support to keep retention and student smiles high.
  • Weaving critical life skills like English, Maths, and British Values seamlessly into your practical lessons.

The Essentials:

  • Experience working independently, making sound operational decisions, and knowing when to escape things.
  • Ability to adapt your style to handle complex, sensitive enquiries with a diverse group of stakeholders.
  • Comfortable navigating IT systems, databases, and Microsoft Office to track learner data accurately.
  • Educated to at least Level 2 (including English and Maths).
  • Subject related qualification at a minimum of degree or equivalent.
  • Experience working in Further Education or a public-facing role with duty-of-care responsibilities.
  • Experience working hand-in-hand with safeguarding or facilities teams during incidents.
