Responsibilities
- Support your section by assisting with the preparation and cooking of dishes, following recipes and presentation standards.
- Follow prep lists and daily instructions to ensure your tasks are completed efficiently and on time.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in your work area, contributing to a safe and hygienic kitchen environment.
- Learn and grow by observing and assisting senior chefs, developing your skills and understanding of kitchen operations.
- Use kitchen equipment safely and correctly, following training and guidelines to ensure consistent results.
- Monitor food quality and freshness, reporting any issues to senior team members.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service and a positive working atmosphere.
- Stay flexible and adaptable – work closely with other departments to deliver memorable guest experiences.
- Bring enthusiasm and a willingness to learn, contributing to the energy and professionalism of the kitchen.
