Older Adult Consultant
Rotherham South Community Mental Health Team.
The successful applicant will be one of two consultants providing day-to-day medical support to the South Community Team in Rotherham. The base for this team is Swallownest Court in Rotherham with easy access to the M1 motorway.
This is a 0.6WTE community post. The post holder will have responsibility for the Rotherham Older Adults South Community Mental Health Team and it is expected that clinical contact (DCC) will comprise 75% of the working week. The remaining 25% will be dedicated to administration, CPD, service development and teaching, largely dependent on the successful candidate’s special interests.
Trust-wide community review will take place from this year, and will change the community teams’ function and bases to align with neighbourhood working.
Responsibilities
- Clinical contact: 75% of the working week.
- Administration, CPD, service development, teaching: 25% of the working week, dependent on the successful candidate’s special interests.
