Overview

Relief Care Chef – £16.00 per hour – South Wales. TieTalent is seeking relief chefs to cover shifts in care-based establishments across South Wales, including care homes, schools, day care, nurseries, sheltered housing and hospitals. Role involves cooking/chef responsibilities within care settings on a flexible basis.

Responsibilities

  • Cook / Chef in various care-based establishments as part of a relief staffing brigade.
  • Match shifts to personal availability, from 6 hours a week up to 70 hours a week.
  • Provide qualified cooking ability and proof of standard and ability (qualifications or employee references as required).
  • Adhere to relevant health, safety and hygiene standards in the kitchen.

Qualifications

  • NVQ level 1/2/3
  • VRQ level 1/2
  • AAA Award
  • 706 1/2 or foreign equivalent
  • Previous care experience in one of the specified fields
  • Transport would be useful
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK (documented evidence required)

Requirements

  • Chefs may need to provide qualifications or employee references as proof of standard and ability
  • In line with the Asylum and Immigration Act 1996, candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK
