About the Role
The Stop Smoking Coach delivers group and one‑to‑one health and wellbeing services on the Stop Smoking team. The role is based mainly in remote delivery (four days a week from home) with one day a week on site at a clinic. Travel across Norfolk is required, so applicants must be local to Norfolk and possess a UK driving licence with access to a vehicle.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide intensive support for smokers and tobacco users using pharmacotherapies and behavioural support.
- Accurately record data and prioritise workload according to service needs.
- Deliver the ‘Reed Wellbeing’ programmes in an engaging manner that meets participants’ needs and learning styles.
- Create and maintain a constructive and confidential learning environment.
- Capture key metrics, monitor and record participants’ progress on weight management.
- Liaise with professionals (GPs, primary care staff) to promote and generate referrals to the service.

Required Skills and Experience
- Level 3 qualification in Health Improvement, Public Health, Nutrition, Exercise Referral, or equivalent (e.g., City & Guilds Level 3 Health Trainer, PTTL, Award in Education & Training).
- Experience delivering group‑based health or physical activity interventions or advice & guidance.
- Driving licence and access to a car (essential).

- Interest in health‑related physical activity, healthy eating and behaviour change.
- Willingness to undertake evening and weekend work as required.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel locally.
