Maths Teacher – Basingstoke, Hampshire | Full-Time | Permanent | September 2026 start.
Quantum Scholars are working with a well-regarded secondary school in Basingstoke, Hampshire, seeking a qualified Maths Teacher to join their successful Mathematics department on a full-time, permanent basis from September 2026. This role is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher to inspire students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. The successful candidate will be passionate about Mathematics, deliver engaging lessons, and contribute to a thriving and supportive department.

Responsibilities
- Teach Mathematics across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that inspire and challenge students.
- Assess, monitor and support student progress, ensuring all learners achieve their potential.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to the continued success of the Mathematics department.
- Participate fully in the wider life of the school.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Mathematics at secondary school level.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Mathematics education.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- A commitment to raising student achievement and delivering outstanding teaching.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
Additional Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners.
- Monitor student attainment and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
- Work closely with colleagues, parents and school leaders to support student success.
- Contribute to departmental planning and school improvement initiatives.
