What you will do:

  • Support service users from entry into the service, guiding them through their treatment and recovery journey.
  • Conduct screening, assessment, recovery planning, and manage onward referrals effectively.
  • Work to reduce drug- and alcohol-related harm to both service users and the wider community.
  • Promote active involvement from carers, service users, and the community at large.
  • Provide advocacy to support access to critical partnership services.
  • Collaborate with service users to support social reintegration, enabling them to lead meaningful and purposeful lives.
  • Promote values of recovery, resilience, peer support, and self-determination to facilitate lasting change.

Essential Requirements:

  • Must be DBS registered on the Update Service.
  • Relevant experience in a Recovery Coordinator or similar role is essential.
  • Probation Enhanced Vetting is highly desirable, adding quality assurance to your role.
