About The Role

We’re hiring a Warehouse Team Manager to lead our team across two different shift patterns: Tuesday‑Saturday 6am‑2pm or 2pm‑10pm (Sunday/Monday rest days) or Sunday‑Thursday 6am‑2pm or 2pm‑10pm (Friday/Saturday rest days). This role combines operational responsibility with real work‑life balance.

Working at Advanced Supply Chain Bradford, you will be a permanent full‑time Team Manager, working 38.75 hours across multiple shift patterns with a competitive salary of £33,024, plus a structured development plan that includes training, mentorship and clear opportunities for career growth.

As Team Manager, you will report directly into our Operations Managers and will support them and the wider team by managing Team Leaders and Warehouse Operatives, ensuring they remain engaged, organised and motivated. You will drive and deliver on our expectations, ensuring the department meets agreed customer service level agreements to continue delivering exceptional services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand and be responsible for all key operational processes and procedures in your area.
  • Ensure adherence to all H&S regulations – report any incidents and near misses via the correct channel.
  • Analyse data, establish root cause and put in place correct measures, escalating any issues to the management team in a timely manner.
  • Ensure your team have all equipment/training necessary to work productively, supporting and sharing best practice to exceed targets and remain efficient.
  • Full responsibility for performance management of team, focusing on wellbeing, absence, and performance.
  • Implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs and enhance safety protocols.
  • Participate in department and site projects and drive continuous improvement.

What We Need From You

  • Proven experience in warehouse management or logistics roles, with a strong understanding of warehouse operations.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams within a fast‑paced setting.
  • Familiar with using and operating an in‑house warehouse management system.
  • Good communication skills to liaise effectively across departments and external partners.
  • Knowledge of 3PL logistics providers and supply chain processes is desirable.
  • Understanding of operational working practice and safe systems of work; familiar with Lean Six Sigma principles.
  • A good knowledge of Health and Safety in a warehouse and distribution environment.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages.
