This DevOps / Infrastructure Automation Engineer role is a 3-month contract working for a leading IT Communications company in the East Midlands area. The client is embarking on automating their bespoke application release process and requires an experienced contractor to get this project off the ground.
Responsibilities
- Design and build an automated release process, working with Development and testing teams to embed solid, repeatable processes for software release management.
- Create software release automation solutions that deliver efficiency and consistency to current processes.
- Propose widely supported tools and/or software that aid the delivery of these automation solutions.
- Produce documentation and train other team members on these automation solutions.
You will have the opportunity to guide this client in choosing technologies and scripting languages for the project, effectively creating a clean slate to work from.
Location
This role is based within the East Midlands area, which is easily commutable from places such as Derby, Leicester, and Nottingham. Free parking is available.
