Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Location: Bricklehurst Manor School, Stonegate, TN5 7EL
Hours: 37.5 hours per week | Monday – Friday 8:00am – 4:00pm, including 1 x 5pm finish
Salary: Up to £24,000 per annum (depending on experience, not pro rata)
Contract: Permanent | Term Time Only
Start: September 2026

What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting individual pupils or small groups with learning tasks
- Helping pupils regulate emotions through positive relationships and predictable routines
- Working closely with teachers to adapt activities and resources
- Encouraging independence, social interaction and emotional resilience
- Supporting outdoor learning, sensory breaks and enrichment sessions
- Providing personal care or physical support where required
- Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils
- Contributing to a calm, inclusive and purposeful learning environment
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Relevant qualification for instructor roles
- GCSE Grade C / 4 or above (or equivalent) in English and Maths
- A genuine interest in supporting pupils with SEMH and/or SEN needs
- The ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Experience working in an SEMH or specialist education setting with young children
- Driving licence
