Apprentice Teaching Assistant (Level 3)

This is a fixed‑term contract of 18 months for an Apprenticeship in Teaching Assistants. Upon completion you will achieve a Level3 Teaching Assistant qualification.

Apprenticeship Rates

• Under 18 years – £16,012 per annum
• 18‑20 years – £21,510 per annum
• 21+ years – £24,520 per annum

Leeds City College is seeking an Apprentice Teaching Assistant to join our Public Services department, based at our Quarry Hill campus. You will play a vital role in supporting learners to achieve their full potential by delivering high‑quality classroom support, teaching whole classes within agreed framework, and providing pastoral care. Working closely with teachers and colleagues, you will help create a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment that promotes academic progress, wellbeing, confidence and positive behaviour for every student.
