Maths Teacher

Experience and Qualifications needed:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching Mathematics at secondary level.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Understanding of SEMH needs, trauma-informed practice and restorative approaches.
• Ability to build positive relationships with vulnerable pupils.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Resilience, adaptability and emotional intelligence.

About the Role

To deliver high-quality Mathematics teaching to pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, enabling them to achieve positive academic, personal and emotional outcomes.

The postholder will create a safe, engaging and supportive learning environment, using adaptive teaching, strong behaviour management and trauma‑informed approaches to support pupils with a range of additional needs and barriers to learning.
