Overview

The Salad Project is a rapidly growing chain of salad restaurants in London, founded in 2021. We are looking for a Kitchen Manager to lead our kitchen teams.

Position

Kitchen Manager – £35,000 per annum, 45 hours per week, Full‑time, Sunday–Thursday, Immediate start.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the kitchen team of Kitchen Hands and KPs.
  • Implement and improve kitchen processes.
  • Monitor hygiene best practices and maintain a 5* hygiene rating.
  • Manage ordering, stock management and resolve stock issues.
  • Schedule the team, train and support staff wellbeing.
  • Report to Restaurant Manager and Culinary Director.

Experience & Qualifications

  • 1–3 years experience cooking in a busy professional or casual dining kitchen.
  • Management and team leadership experience.
  • Hygiene qualifications.
  • Experience not required – but background in kitchen operations.
