Overview
The Salad Project is a rapidly growing chain of salad restaurants in London, founded in 2021. We are looking for a Kitchen Manager to lead our kitchen teams.
Position
Kitchen Manager – £35,000 per annum, 45 hours per week, Full‑time, Sunday–Thursday, Immediate start.
Responsibilities
- Manage the kitchen team of Kitchen Hands and KPs.
- Implement and improve kitchen processes.
- Monitor hygiene best practices and maintain a 5* hygiene rating.
- Manage ordering, stock management and resolve stock issues.
- Schedule the team, train and support staff wellbeing.
- Report to Restaurant Manager and Culinary Director.

Experience & Qualifications
- 1–3 years experience cooking in a busy professional or casual dining kitchen.
- Management and team leadership experience.
- Hygiene qualifications.
- Experience not required – but background in kitchen operations.
