About the role
As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. You will plan and implement care that gives residents a real sense of security, dignity, and independence. You will get to know residents and their families, ensuring truly personalised care plans.
Leading a team of Care Assistants, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of care and influencing the rest of the team. Whether you are showing someone how to use a walking frame, helping someone at the end of their life to eat a meal, or talking to a resident’s family on the phone, you’ll do so with a sense of kindness above everything else.
Assisting the Registered Nurse and Care Manager, you will provide essential physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities, as well as administering medication and maintaining accurate records of all care activities.
Qualifications
- Ideally, you have completed a Level 2 Diploma S/NVQ in Adult Social Care or equivalent and are prepared to work toward a Level 3 qualification in Adult Social Care.
- Background in person‑centred care planning and knowledge of caring for people with dementia.
- Excellent record keeping, time‑management skills and a natural ability to get along with people.
- Positive energy and the ability to communicate considerately with residents and co‑workers.
About HC‑One

Safeguarding
Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility in adult social care. You must recognize signs of abuse, harm or neglect and know what to do if concerns arise.
