Care Assistant (Nights)
Location: The Red House, 43 Skinners Lane, Ashtead, Surrey, KT21 2NN
Role Overview
Provide personal care and support to residents, make impactful memories, and ensure their needs are met through our electronic care platform “Nourish”. Work within a committed team and perform ad‑hoc duties as required.
Responsibilities
- Caring and supporting residents in their journey with Aurem Care.
- Providing personal care, social support and creating heart‑warming memories.
- Ensuring the needs of residents are met through the use of our electronic care platform “Nourish”.
- Working within a committed team member.
- Showing positive caring values in all aspects of practice.
- Performing any ad hoc duties to meet service delivery for residents.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Enthusiastic about providing care.
- Great values and compassion for supporting people.
- Experience is an advantage but not necessary; full support and training will be provided.
- Able to work well both as part of a team and independently, showing creativity and passion for the work.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Able to follow and prioritise tasks and responsibilities.
- Engage well with people we support, respecting their continuing interests and positive experiences.
Benefits & Compensation
- Night shifts: 8:00 pm – 8:00 am or 7:00 pm – 7:00 am.
- Full or part‑time contracts.
- Hourly rate: £12.71 per hour.
- Flexible hours: 22, 33 or 44 hours per week (inclusive of weekend work); bank options also available.
- 28 days annual leave including bank holidays (pro‑rated for part‑time contracts).
