The successful Pre Preg Laminator will be responsible for working with composite materials and pre-preg processes to manufacture high-quality components to exact specifications. The role would suit a detail-focused Pre Preg Laminator with experience working within a fast-paced production environment and a strong understanding of quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Laminating composite components using pre-preg materials
- Reading and working from technical drawings and lay-up schedules
- Preparing moulds, tooling and materials for production
- Vacuum bagging and preparing components for curing
- Trimming and finishing completed parts to specification
- Conducting quality checks throughout the laminating process
- Maintaining a clean and organised working environment
- Following all health and safety procedures
Qualifications
- Previous experience working as a Pre Preg Laminator
- Knowledge of composite manufacturing processes
- Experience with vacuum bagging and curing processes
- Good attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Strong work ethic and reliable attitude
- Flexibility to support overtime when required
