We are looking for an outgoing, friendly person to join the successful and supportive team as a Sales Adviser at our branch in Ilfracombe.What you’ll be doing:Get to know our product lines and services in order to make the most of all customer interactions in line with our Jewson valuesDevelop great relationships with new and existing customers (both face to face and over the phone), understanding their needs and providing proactive advice and solutions so that you can deliver the best experience possibleUse our in-house systems to process customer orders and payments, organise delivery times, update customer accounts and keep customers updated throughout their journeyKeep the branch looking clean and tidy, to make a great first impression on our customersMaintain stock levels, carrying out regular stock countsWork with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvementFlexibility to help covering in other business areas when neededWorking Hours:07:30 – 17:00 Monday to Friday and every other Saturday morning 08:00 – 12noonSome flexibility on these hours is available for the right candidate and can be discussed at interviewWhat you’ll need to have:Enthusiasm – Positivity and unyielding passion for the merchant worldDecency – Honesty, integrity, and mutual respectTeam Spirit – A genuine desire to help others, working collaboratively and achieving results togetherPride – Dedication in producing top-notch resultsFlexibility – to help in other business areas as and when neededWhat’s in it for you:Competitive Basic SalaryPerformance Related Bonus34 days holiday per yearRetirement Savings Plan (Pension) – with Legal & GeneralLife Assurance – From your first day of employment with us you are automatically covered for a lump-sum death in service benefit of 2 x your basic salary.
