Teaching Assistant – Lambeth – September

Key Responsibilities

• Provide classroom support, deliver targeted interventions, assist pupils with varying learning needs and help create an engaging learning environment.
• Work closely with teachers to prepare resources, monitor pupil progress and promote positive behaviour.
• Support pupils with SEND where required; approximately 13% of pupils receive SEN Support and around 0.1% have an EHCP, with personalised provision in place.

Qualifications & Experience

• Hold a degree or relevant experience supporting children.
• Excellent communication skills, patience, enthusiasm and adaptability.
• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant or within an educational setting is highly desirable.
• This role is ideal for aspiring teachers or graduates considering a career in education.
