Are you an experienced HGV driver who values teamwork, safety, and making a difference in your community? We’re looking for a skilled and responsible individual to operate our Waste Management vehicles and lead a refuse collection crew to deliver essential services across the district.
What you’ll do:
- Safely drive and operate a range of vehicles, including HGVs, sweepers, and specialist fleet.
- Supervise and support your crew, ensuring clear communication and high standards.
- Ensure health and safety compliance at all times, including daily vehicle checks.
- Maintain professionalism when interacting with colleagues and the public.
- Complete waste collection and street cleaning tasks efficiently and to Council standards.
What we’re looking for:
- A valid HGV licence and Driver CPC qualification.
- Strong leadership and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to safety and service excellence.
- Ability to work outdoors and handle physical tasks.
- Play a vital role in keeping our streets clean and our community safe.
