Location: Brighton – City Campus, Moulsecoomb and Falmer

Salary: Circa £18.45 per hour

The University’s Disability and Learning Support Team is recruiting Academic Support Workers to support and/or take notes for students in their lectures and seminars. This role also includes acting as a reader and/or scribe for students in exams.

We are currently seeking to recruit Academic Support Workers to support students across a wide range of courses and disciplines at each of our 3 Brighton campuses.

As a casual post, this role may suit those who are interested in taking on work around their studies and/or other commitments. The rate of pay is circa £18.45 per teaching hour which is inclusive of any time that might be required to format/tidy notes. Monthly claims will also include a holiday hour increment of 12.07%. While there is often a high demand for the service, we cannot guarantee that sessions or exams needing support will always be available.
