Position

Recovery Coordinator – Warrington, Full‑Time (37.5 hours per week), Permanent.

Responsibilities

  • Provide unwavering support to opiate service users from initial contact through the entire treatment and recovery journey.
  • Implement tailored interventions to reduce harm from opiate use, delivered via group sessions or one‑on‑one engagement.
  • Ensure service users receive a comprehensive, recovery‑focused plan.
  • Collaborate with other organisations and the community to enhance recovery resources, referring users to mutual aid groups and networks.
  • Advocate for the involvement of family members, users, and the community.
  • Serve as a voice for users in accessing partnership services.
  • Work closely with users to facilitate their social reintegration, promoting recovery, resilience, peer support, and self‑determination.

About You

  • Possess knowledge and experience delivering interventions for service users affected by opiate use.
  • Excel in verbal and written communication and have proficient IT skills.
  • Show proactive qualities, work independently, and manage time and priorities efficiently.
  • Understand mental health interventions, services, and best practices.
  • Be a supportive team player with exceptional interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating with professionals, agencies, and stakeholders.
  • Navigate change effectively, prioritising user needs.
  • Recognise the importance of information governance and commit to all safeguards.
  • Pursue continuous learning to enhance professional knowledge and contribute to colleagues’ growth.
