Opportunity
This role will provide support to rural businesses and landowners, and includes a blend of administrative and technical consultant support activities with an emphasis on soil sampling and associated services.
Key Elements
- Project management and liaising with clients to ensure an efficient, customer‑focused service
- Having attention to detail and ability to embrace new technical IT systems and methods
- Possessing good communication and numeracy skills
- Managing a varied workload, including sampling of soils for nutritional, pest and disease analysis and data collection, both in office and on farm
- Supporting consultants in delivery of national programmes and initiatives, including the Scottish Farm Advisory Service and Whole Farm Plan
Minimum Qualifications
The successful candidate will be educated to SCQF level 5 (or higher) including a strong level of numeracy or equivalent relevant experience.
