Graduate Teaching Assistant

An excellent secondary school located in Bushey, Hertfordshire is looking for a motivated teaching assistant who can work with children on a one‑to‑one basis and in small groups. The school highly values academic knowledge and seeks someone who shares this ethos.
Responsibilities:
- Support children in their attainment and progress alongside teachers and other teaching assistants.
- Support children’s learning up to GCSE level and adapt to individual needs.
- Make observations and carry out sessions instructed by the teacher to improve progress.
Key skills and experience needed
- Degree preferred, particularly in mainstream curriculum subjects (English, Maths, Science, French, History, etc.)
- Experience working with children required.
- Understanding of special needs or learning difficulties.
- Enthusiastic and creative approach to learning.
- High levels of professionalism.
