Sheltered Housing Team Leader
We’re recruiting two Sheltered Housing Team Leaders to join our Housing Operations team at Milton Keynes City Council. Our Sheltered Housing service provides a dedicated, customer‑focused offer that supports older and vulnerable residents to live independently, safely, and with dignity across our sheltered schemes. Working closely with colleagues and partner agencies, we help residents manage their tenancies, access support, and maintain their wellbeing.
Responsibilities
As a Team Leader, you’ll play a key role in leading day‑to‑day operations across multiple schemes. You’ll guide and support a team of sheltered housing colleagues, ensuring a consistent, high‑quality service that meets residents’ needs and keeps safety, compliance, and wellbeing at its heart. This is a rewarding role where your leadership will make a real difference. You’ll help sustain tenancies, respond to complex needs, and work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to improve residents’ quality of life. In doing so, you’ll contribute to stronger communities and help reduce pressure on wider health and social care services.
