Geoenvironmental Engineer – Milton Keynes – Salary: £30,000 – £40,000
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Geoenvironmental Engineer to join a well‑established ground investigation and site services contractor based in Milton Keynes. Working on a diverse range of residential, commercial, industrial and infrastructure projects, you will play a key role in delivering contaminated land assessments and ground investigation works from site through to reporting.

The Role
- Design, supervise and manage ground investigation projects
- Carry out Phase 1 Preliminary Risk Assessments and Phase 2 Site Investigations
- Log soil and rock samples in accordance with BS 5930
- Undertake soil, groundwater and ground gas sampling
- Interpret laboratory data and prepare factual and interpretative reports
- Complete contaminated land risk assessments and recommend appropriate remediation solutions
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors and regulatory bodies throughout project delivery
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget
- Support junior engineers and contribute to the successful delivery of multiple projects
Requirements
- Degree in Geology, Engineering Geology, Environmental Science or a related subject
- Previous experience in geoenvironmental engineering, contaminated land or ground investigation
- Knowledge of UK contaminated land guidance and current legislation
- Experience supervising site investigations and producing technical reports
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Full UK driving licence
