Job Overview
The Schools Desktop Support Analyst will join an established SRS Education Team covering schools across Monmouthshire, Torfaen, Blaenau Gwent and Newport. The team is multi‑site, with offices at Usk County Hall and Newport Civic Centre, and works with partner schools to deliver SLAs and project work based on service need. The role’s primary purpose is to provide SLA support to Blaenau Gwent Schools.

Responsibilities
- Provide 1st/2nd line support to schools across the region.
- Escalate to 3rd line where necessary.
- Strive to meet and exceed Service Level Agreement (SLA) performance targets.
- Maintain a good working knowledge of IT hardware and software.
- Employ an excellent communication style to meet the needs of different levels of understanding when providing support and advice to schools.
- Work effectively both within a team and individually.

- Excellent communication skills.
