Directorate

The University of Bradford is seeking an experienced, proactive Income Operations Manager to lead the delivery of a high-quality income and accounts receivable service. This key role ensures accurate income collection and supports wider financial priorities.

You will lead income operations, driving efficiency, strengthening controls, and improving processes, while ensuring a strong, customer-focused service and effective risk management.

We are seeking a commercially aware professional with experience in income or financial operations in a complex environment, alongside strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.

What you will be doing:

Act as the service lead for Accounts Receivable & Income and Fees & Finance, with responsibility for the integrity, governance, and effectiveness of all related processes across the University.

Provide specialist advice and recommendations to the Head of Operational Finance and senior Finance colleagues on income performance, risk, and opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications/experience:

  • Educated to Level 4 or equivalent qualification, or equivalent professional experience in finance, income management, or operational finance.
