Role Overview
This is an opportunity to join a newly established engineering team responsible for building the next generation of a cloud-native platform using modern technologies and architecture.
Working within a collaborative engineering environment, you will contribute to the design, development, testing, and deployment of scalable software solutions. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will demonstrate strong technical expertise while mentoring junior engineers and collaborating closely with architects, technical leads, and other engineering teams to deliver production-ready systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive engineering best practices and promote high-quality software development.
- Support and contribute to an effective Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Participate in planning, estimation, and technical discussions.
- Collaborate with engineers and architects on system design and architecture.
- Refactor and evolve existing systems towards target-state architecture.
- Take ownership of features from design through deployment.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Essential Skills & Experience
Experience
- 5+ years’ commercial experience as a Full Stack, Front-End, or Back-End Software Engineer.
- Strong experience developing applications using TypeScript.
- Experience working within Agile cross-functional teams.
- Experience delivering software through the full software development lifecycle.
- Experience building low-latency, event-driven applications.
- Experience developing reusable platform services.
- Experience supporting production systems where required.
