Salary: MPS – UPS (dependent on experience)

SANZA Teaching Agency are working exclusively with a welcoming and high-achieving primary school in Ealing who are seeking a confident and experienced Year 6 Teacher to join their team on a part-time basis from September 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and well-established school community with an excellent reputation locally. The school are looking for a dedicated Key Stage 2 practitioner who can commit to three days per week and confidently support pupils through their important final year of primary education.

The successful candidate will be joining a collaborative upper KS2 team within a school that places a strong emphasis on both academic achievement and pupil wellbeing. The Role

The school are seeking an experienced Year 6 Teacher who can deliver engaging lessons, prepare pupils effectively for SATs and support children pastorally during their transition to secondary school.

Responsibilities

  • Planning and delivering high-quality lessons across the Year 6 curriculum
  • Preparing pupils for SATs assessments with confidence and creativity
  • Monitoring pupil progress and providing targeted interventions where needed
  • Creating a positive and engaging classroom environment
  • Working collaboratively with the parallel Year 6 teacher and wider KS2 team
  • Building strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
  • Maintaining high expectations for behaviour and achievement

Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Previous experience teaching Year 6
  • Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and SATs preparation
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • A positive and proactive attitude
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • A genuine passion for primary education
