About the role:
justteachers is delighted to be working in partnership with a vibrant and welcoming school in Cromer to recruit an enthusiastic and creative Music Teacher for a full‑time, long‑term position starting in September.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging and high‑quality music lessons across the curriculum, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere where all pupils can participate and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Music Teaching — Plan and deliver engaging and inspiring music lessons across the curriculum
- Curriculum Delivery — Deliver high‑quality teaching that supports musical knowledge, creativity, and performance skills
- Assessment & Progress Tracking — Monitor pupil progress and provide constructive feedback to support development
- Classroom Management — Maintain a positive, structured, and purposeful learning environment
- Performance Opportunities — Support and encourage participation in performances, concerts, and extracurricular activities
- Inclusive Practice — Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils
- Collaborative Working — Work closely with colleagues, leadership teams, and support staff
- Parent Communication — Build positive relationships with parents and carers
- Safeguarding Commitment — Uphold safeguarding responsibilities at all times
Pre‑requisites:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching Music within a school setting
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills
- A creative, engaging, and enthusiastic approach to teaching
- Ability to inspire and motivate pupils of varying abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Two recent, relevant references
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
