Class 2 Driver – RoRo driver

Location: South Kirby, Wakefield

Pay: £15.55 to £26.08 per hour (including holiday pay)

Shifts: Monday to Friday 07:00‑17:15, occasional Saturdays for overtime

Driver Type: Class 2 RoRo Driver

Experience: Minimum 12 months Class 2, preferred skip & RoRo experience

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate a Class 2 RoRo vehicle
• Collect and transport trade waste
• Plan routes efficiently to maximise productivity
• Deliver a professional service at collection points
• Perform daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
• Complete digital paperwork via tablet systems
• Work in line with WTD, drivers’ hours and waste duty of care
• Follow site safety procedures and complete work to a high standard

All applicants are expected to complete work to a high standard while following site safety procedures.

About you

• UK resident with a Class 2 driving licence and at least 12 months commercial driving experience
• Previous experience with skips and RoRo vehicles; UK DCPC card and valid Digi‑tacho card required
• Maximum 6 points on licence; DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements not accepted
• Up‑to‑date with WTD regulations
• Able to travel to and from site; no visa or relocation assistance provided
