Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join our team in Preston for a full‑time on‑site role. Responsibilities include managing a varied caseload of clinical negligence claims, from initial instruction through to resolution, ensuring compliance with legal standards and deadlines. The role involves liaising with clients, medical experts, and relevant parties to prepare and progress cases, conducting diligent investigations, drafting legal documents, and advising clients on potential claims. The successful candidate will serve as a key point of contact, providing professional legal counsel while ensuring clients receive outstanding service throughout the process.
Qualifications
- Experience with clinical negligence claims management, including case preparation, litigation proceedings, and legal documentation.
- Strong negotiation, advocacy, and client communication skills to effectively communicate with clients and other stakeholders.
- Knowledge of relevant medical terms and the healthcare industry, as well as regulatory and compliance frameworks.
- Ability to conduct thorough legal research, assess case merits, and provide strategic advice to clients.
- Proficiency in time management and organizational skills to manage a high workload effectively.
- Qualification as a Solicitor in England and Wales, with a focus on clinical negligence or personal injury law.
- Legal practice experience of 2+ years in clinical negligence (preferred but not essential).
